About the Role
There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make a tailor-made holiday feel effortless. Flights need checking. Hotels and experiences need confirming. Payments need making. Travel documents need to be right. And with clients travelling all over Africa, Asia and Latin America, there are plenty of deadlines and details that simply can't be missed.
We're looking for someone to join our Operations team at Sundowner Holidays and help make all of that happen.
You'll work closely with our Holiday Designers once a holiday has been booked, taking responsibility for the operational detail from confirmation through to travel. You'll use Safari Portal to manage bookings, liaise with our overseas suppliers, prepare client documentation, keep on top of deadlines, respond to client questions and help solve the inevitable issues that occasionally crop up in travel.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
