The Operations Governance Manager role

The Operations Governance Manager role will design and own the structure and content of the Operations Governance including the framework of the Operations Production System. They will translate AMF requirements into Operational Governance and design and maintain the operations governance structure, determining the critical items to be included.

About the role

  • Design and maintain the operations governance system, promoting its use within Operations
  • Provide input into the AMF Lead on Operations’ considerations of the wider OFF Asset Management Framework
  • Ensure the constituent parts of the Operations Governance System, including the Production System, work together without overlap or ambiguity
  • Interface across the Operations organisation, responsible for communication and alignment of content
  • Suggest, drive and coordinate measures and initiatives for Operations under the AMF and/or the Ops Governance System
  • Ensure a training and audit regime is in place

Job requirements and experience

  • University degree in a technical or organisational area
  • Extensive working experience in asset related roles as well as expertise in lifecycle asset management
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, strategic business recommendations
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills to facilitate collaboration across Operations
  • High level of understanding of organisational effectiveness and structuring, preferably with specific knowledge of ISO55001 approaches to Asset Management.
  • Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of wind assets and of asset management concepts, principles, tools and techniques
  • Experience of developing and implementing quality or governance systems and associated content
