Job Role

We are looking for someone to join the team as a right-hand person to the founders, Hamish and George. You’ll be working across all areas of the business from operations, to sales and marketing, to events. One day you might be setting up a CRM system for stockists and the next you could be working on brand partnerships or running a market stand.

As we grow, the role will grow and evolve. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious food start-up as the first employee (non-kitchen). Candidates must be energetic, flexible and problem solvers. The founders are based between Cornwall and London and have a shared passion for the sea. Surfing or swimming at lunch will always be encouraged.

What you'll do

  • Operations: manage forecasting, production and distribution.
  • Sales: build and manage relationships with stockists, from delis to large retailers.
  • Marketing: grow the Fat Fingers brand, including socials, activations and events.
  • Project management: manage Fat Fingers’ company operations, from task management to hiring. Help us build an awesome team and culture.
  • Everything else: getting stuck into the good, the bad, and the ugly with a positive attitude.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years' work experience. More is a plus, but this isn’t a senior role, it’s a launchpad for an ambitious person early in their career.
  • No specific industry background required. Experience in food, drink or FMCG is helpful but not essential. You’ll need to like fish fingers, you’ll be eating a lot of them.
  • A problem solver. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership and responsibility, doesn't wait to be told what to do, and gets stuck into tasks big and small with a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable with variety and ambiguity. This role will look different every month.
