What Will You Be Doing?

Within your industrial placement year, you will gain exposure to aspects of manufacturing operations within a highly technical industry.

You will spend time over the course of your placement working on business process improvement projects within some of the following disciplines: purchasing, planning, materials management, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, and manufacturing production.

What Are We Looking For?

DTC are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and competent undergraduate to work within our Operations function over the course of your Industrial Placement.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who can display many of the following attributes:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability
  • Good work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quick learner
  • Analytical mindset

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2 A levels at grade B or above in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics-related subjects.
  • On track for a predicted 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
