LLB Capital – CRM & Data Operations Internship Programme

1. Programme Overview

LLB Capital is currently developing a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programme designed to improve customer acquisition, customer engagement, and the overall quality of customer information.

The programme will also support LLB Capital in addressing operational inefficiencies, including logistical bottlenecks, administrative issues, and opportunities to improve internal processes.

To support the implementation and development of this programme, LLB Capital is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented operations Intern.

The internship will initially be part-time, two days per week for 12 weeks. Subject to performance and business requirements, there will be the opportunity to progress to four days per week and potentially into a Junior Middle Office Support position.

2. Internship Objectives

The principal objective of the internship is to provide practical support in developing, maintaining, and improving the CRM database while assisting with the wider administrative requirements of the new CRM and operational programme.

The intern will gain experience in:

  • CRM administration and data management
  • Data quality improvement
  • Customer and company information research
  • Third-party communication
  • Operational administration
  • Process improvement
  • Data accuracy and validation
  • Supporting customer acquisition and relationship management
  • Identifying operational bottlenecks and administrative issues

4. Key Responsibilities

A. Data Enhancement & Quality

A significant part of the role will involve improving the quality, accuracy, and completeness of information held within the CRM.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing existing CRM records
  • Identifying incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information
  • Researching missing company and contact information
  • Updating CRM records accurately and consistently
  • Removing or identifying duplicate records
  • Ensuring information is recorded in the correct format
  • Maintaining a high standard of data integrity
  • Flagging discrepancies or information requiring further investigation

Accuracy and attention to detail will be particularly important in this area.

B. Third-Party Data Enhancement

LLB Capital may work with third-party companies and data providers to enhance and verify information.

The intern will assist with this process by:

  • Identifying relevant third-party contacts
  • Accurately contacting third-party organisations where required
  • Following agreed communication procedures
  • Requesting or verifying relevant information
  • Recording responses accurately within the CRM
  • Following up outstanding requests
  • Escalating unusual or unresolved issues to the appropriate member of the LLB Capital team

All external communication will be conducted professionally and in accordance with LLB Capital's procedures.

C. CRM Administration

The intern will support the day-to-day administration of the CRM programme, including:

  • Maintaining customer and prospect records
  • Updating contact details and company information
  • Recording activities and communications
  • Supporting the organisation of CRM information
  • Assisting with basic reporting and data checks
  • Identifying recurring data issues
  • Helping establish consistent CRM administration procedures

D. Operational Support

As the CRM programme develops, the intern will also assist with identifying areas where operational efficiency can be improved.

This may include:

  • Identifying administrative bottlenecks
  • Recording recurring operational issues
  • Assisting with process mapping
  • Helping identify opportunities to reduce manual administration
  • Supporting improvements to internal workflows
  • Maintaining records of outstanding operational actions
  • Assisting the team with general administrative requirements

5. Performance Measures

The internship will be assessed against a number of key areas:

  • Data Accuracy
  • Attention to Detail
  • Reliability- Consistent attendance, timekeeping, and completion of assigned work
  • Initiative & Learning Ability- to identify issues and suggest improvements
  • Ability to understand and adopt new systems and processes
  • Professionalism- Appropriate conduct when dealing with internal and external contacts

6. Progression Opportunity

The internship is intended to provide a potential pathway into a longer-term role within LLB Capital.

Following successful completion of the initial 12-week, two-day-per-week internship, LLB Capital may offer the successful individual the opportunity to increase their commitment to four days per week.
