Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role in Operations – IT & Security Operations at SAS International. The role involves overseeing day-to-day IT operations that support the company’s security and protection services, including monitoring systems, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring secure, reliable access to critical applications and data. The Operations – IT & Security Operations specialist will provide technical support to internal teams, diagnose and resolve issues, and coordinate troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include system administration tasks such as user account management, updates, backups, and configuration changes aligned with security protocols and operational requirements. The role also collaborates with security and operations stakeholders to strengthen information security practices, document procedures, and support continuous improvement of IT and security operations.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in IT Operations and Information Technology to manage daily infrastructure and services.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to resolve user and system issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess System Administration skills to maintain servers, user accounts, configurations, and updates.
- Experience with security controls, network monitoring, and incident response in an operational environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with remote work tools, cloud-based systems, and documentation of IT processes is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are required.
- Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are important.
- A relevant degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous, along with prior experience in IT or security operations.
