Role Description
The Operations – IT & Security Operations role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting and optimizing the technology and security infrastructure that underpins SAS International’s protection and risk management services. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Monitoring IT systems
- Managing user accounts and access controls
- Performing routine system administration to ensure stability and reliability
- Providing technical support to internal teams
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintaining documentation of configurations, incidents, and resolutions

The role also involves supporting security operations by:
- Implementing best practices
- Assisting with incident response activities
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to uphold confidentiality, compliance, and data protection standards
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in IT Operations and Information Technology to oversee core systems and services.
- Hands-on experience in System Administration, including user management, access control, and system monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Knowledge of security best practices, incident response, and data protection in operational environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in remote, distributed teams and maintaining clear, timely communication with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools for ticketing, monitoring, and documentation (e.g., helpdesk platforms, logging and alerting systems).
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in security operations, risk management, or supporting protective services organizations is an advantage.
