Operations Lead - 1 Thoroton Street, Radford, Nottingham NG7 4EW, UK
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an Operations Lead to work with a leading smart-mobility provider in Nottingham, specializing in e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.
Shift Patterns
- Any 5 days out of 7, 8am-4pm.
- Flexibility is required to work weekends and evenings.
Pay Rates
- 15.30 GBP hourly
Essential Requirements for Operations Lead
- Previous experience in an Operations Lead or similar management role, ideally in the logistics sector.
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams.
- Strong organisational and shift planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience monitoring KPIs and operational performance.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
- Reliable, proactive, and results-driven.
- Flexible to work weekends and travel between offices in South and North London.

Skills Requirements for Operations Lead
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar operational environment.
- Previous leadership or team-training experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a mechanically minded approach.
- Ability to lift up to 30kg on a frequent basis.
- Ability to use mobile applications and learn new tools and systems.
- Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills.
- Understanding of operational KPIs, analytics and performance.
- Ability to work effectively with external suppliers and logistics partners.
Role for Operations Lead
- Oversee daily operational workflows and team performance.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules for e-bikes and scooters.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across the facility.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure fleet availability.
