Regional Operations Lead – (East Anglia)
Location: East Anglia (Hybrid)
Salary: £39K
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Lead Operational Excellence Across NHS Services
We are seeking an exceptional Regional Operations Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality NHS and Primary Care services across East Anglia.
This is an opportunity for a driven and experienced operations professional to take ownership of regional performance, influence key stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement within a fast-growing, patient-focused organisation.
You will work at the heart of operations, partnering with senior leaders and NHS stakeholders to ensure services are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest possible standard.
The Opportunity
This is not a purely administrative operations role, it is a hands-on, strategic leadership position where you will:
- Shape and optimise service delivery across multiple NHS contracts
- Influence operational strategy and regional performance
- Lead, develop and inspire teams
- Act as a trusted partner to both internal leadership and external stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Own the day-to-day operational delivery of NHS services across the region
- Ensure services run efficiently, meeting all quality and performance standards
- Lead workforce planning, including rota oversight and resource optimisation
- Maintain accurate operational systems, reporting, and process documentation

Contract & Stakeholder Management
- Take full accountability for contract performance and KPIs
- Build and manage strong, credible relationships with NHS stakeholders
- Lead service reviews and identify opportunities for enhancement and growth
- Proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Provide strong leadership to regional operations teams
- Act as a role model, driving high performance and accountability
- Analyse data trends (using tools such as Excel/Power BI) to inform decisions
- Lead improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient outcomes
- Support strategic objectives and contribute to wider organisational goals
About You
We are looking for a confident, commercially aware and highly capable operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential Experience
- Strong operations (Ops) experience, ideally within healthcare or NHS settings
- Demonstrable understanding of NHS structures, contracts, and service delivery
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams
- Experience managing stakeholders at multiple levels
