Operations Lead

We are looking for an experienced Operations Lead to drive operational excellence across our London studio. In this role, you will own the day-to-day operational rhythm of the studio — overseeing workflow, production planning, capacity management, and performance tracking to ensure we consistently meet our quality and productivity targets.

You will lead a team of Operations Associates, ensuring resources are in place to meet daily production goals while coordinating directly with creative teams, production leads, and cross-functional partners. You will be responsible for forecasting volumes, planning capacity against demand, and reacting quickly to shifting priorities — building contingency plans that keep production on track.

You will ensure standard operating procedures are followed, identify inefficiencies in workflow, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with regional peers, sharing best practices and delivering scalable operating procedures that maintain rigour as the studio grows.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Operations Associates supporting studio logistics, volume processing, and daily production goals
  • Own the planning and flow of product and assets through all stages of the studio workflow, from sample intake through to final delivery.
  • Support annual and quarterly planning cycles for volume, productivity, and goals; track progress through continuous inspection and iteration, working through obstacles and gaining stakeholder support.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial analysis for the studio.
  • Ensure studio KPIs are met on a weekly and monthly basis — inspecting metrics, identifying risks early, and driving corrective action.
  • Use data and systems to track, forecast, and plan for volume and product flow requiring stills and videos.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement — contributing Kaizen expertise, collecting and analysing data, and testing solutions for process improvements and new initiatives.
  • Regularly report key productivity and quality metrics to studio leadership and stakeholders.
  • Build and scale process-related solutions with measurable metric impact through automation and cross-team adoption.
  • Create and maintain training materials and process documentation to support team ramp-up and operational consistency.
  • Coordinate with technology and digital teams to unblock production dependencies and ensure systems support operational needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

A day in the life

Your day starts with a production plan review and morning stand-up, aligning your Ops Associates on priorities, volume targets, and schedule changes. From there, you'll split time between the studio floor and your desk: troubleshooting blockers in real time, coordinating with creative leads, tracking live metrics against targets, and working with tech teams to resolve system issues. In between, you're analysing workflow data, building SOPs, preparing reports for leadership, and planning for upcoming volume peaks. No two days are identical — this role suits someone who thrives equally in the detail of daily operations and the strategic thinking required to scale them.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a high-volume, high-throughput production or operations environment
  • Experience directly managing a team of individual contributors
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements, preferably using LEAN or Six Sigma methodology
  • Experience driving multi-stakeholder projects from concept to delivery across different teams and functions
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (SQL, Access, or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with capacity planning, volume forecasting, and resource allocation
