WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION?
The Operations Lead is responsible of the application of all cash-desk, stock procedures and ensures the daily management of the boutique cash-desk and stock. Responsible for the stock team management on daily basis.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Daily Cash-Desk Management
- Guarantees the application and reliability of all financial procedures
- Executes all opening and closing cash-desk procedures
- Controls the accuracy before payment (product reference, price, discount if applicable) and after payment (amount, signature, approval)
- Executes all payments and ensures the follow up of all payments (credit card authorizations, cheque authorizations, wire transfers, etc.)
- Ensures the follow up of deposits, VAT-off sales and refunds
- Executes and provides cash-desk reports when requested
- Exchanges information with the financial back office
- Controls daily the balance of the cash-desk
- Solves all payment problems
- Is in charge of all financial aspects of omni-channel orders for the boutique
Banking Responsibility
- Prepares and executes banking conciliation between Harrods and Cartier reports on daily basis
- Investigates and solves discrepancies
Daily Stock Management
- Manages all stock transfers (reception, departure, BTQ-BTQ, BTQ-Corp, BTQ-Corp-Specialist)
- Controls the quality of all stock transfers (reception and departure)
- Manages client reservations
- Manages consignments (daily, event, press, etc.)
- Prepares pieces for display
- Price labelling
- Price changes
- Manages all omni-channel orders from a stock management perspective

E-Commerce
- In charge of preparations of e-commerce sales on Harrods.com on daily basis
- Managing returns and refunds from e-commerce
- Managing e-commerce clients database
- Investigating discrepancies
- Communication with relevant Harrods and internal teams (e comm, finance, retail ops, etc)
Management
- Participates in recruitment and supervises the onboarding of newcomers
- Monthly catch ups with the stock team
- Participates in MYD and PMPs
- Responsible for all necessary trainings
- Supports the boutique management in creating and maintaining a positive, team spirit and work oriented atmosphere in the stock room
- Monthly rota
- Supports the boutique managers in promoting and maintaining of high level of stock management by all the teams
Inventories
- Manages the annual count, cycle counts and spot counts
- Manages all additional inventories as requested (certificates, stones, etc.)
Compliance
- Ensures that the cash desk and stock handling is in line with all compliance procedures and rules
- Application of internal boutique stock procedures
