Operations Lead
The Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of HTB ministry projects, services, and events. Working closely with HTB Ministry teams, this position translates their objectives into clear, actionable project and operational plans.
The Operations Lead supports HTB Operations Managers by guiding Operations Coordinators in their day-to-day administrative, logistical, and operational tasks—ensuring all activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered to a high standard. The Operations Lead will have a focus on Sunday Services, Workplaced and Alpha, and will be a specialist in the operational running of Brompton Road morning services.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational planning and delivery of HTB Ministry services, events and projects, ensuring excellent execution and attendee experience
- Partner with Operations Managers to ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, health & safety, legal, insurance and financial requirements
- Develop and improve operational processes, systems and workflows to support efficient ministry delivery
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets and expenditure, providing regular updates and reporting on progress and outcomes
- Oversee logistics including venues, hospitality, catering, technical equipment, suppliers and event resources
- Lead and support Operational Coordinators, providing line management, performance development and coaching
- Coordinate clear communication and collaboration across clergy, ministry teams and the wider Operations team
- Engage and mobilise volunteers and congregation members, creating opportunities for involvement in services, events and ministry activities

Requirements
The following skills and experience form the minimum requirements for the role:
- Proven Operation Experience: Proven 2 years experience operationally leading projects and events.
- Proven Management Experience: Demonstrated 1+ year's experience in line management, including overseeing direct reports, providing guidance, and supporting staff development.
- Passion for Sunday Services, Church events and Ministry: Deeply committed to supporting, church events, services and ministries.
- Excellent Communicator: Confident and professional in both written and verbal communication; able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong Organisational Skills: Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage a busy schedule, and remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Effective Problem Solver: Takes a proactive and logical approach to identifying challenges and offering clear, actionable solutions.
- Demonstrate One Team Mentality: Supporting the whole team with running courses, events and services on site which may include working in evenings and weekends on projects such as Alpha, Sunday Services, Workplaced and special events such as Big Summer Sunday and others when required
