We're pleased to offer an opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Planner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover.

As a Vehicle Planner, you will play an important role in managing the vehicle ordering process for 16 Porsche Centres across the UK. Working closely with the Centre Network and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure a smooth flow of vehicle orders from placement through to production and delivery, supporting an efficient supply chain and an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Process vehicle orders and support Porsche Centres with correct vehicle specifications
  • Update vehicle specifications in PVMS following Porsche AG (PAG) changes
  • Share ordering deadlines, monitor performance, and ensure orders are submitted accurately and on time
  • Work with PAG's Volume Planning Team to manage production quotas, quota swaps, and allocation changes
  • Monitor the Porsche Vehicle Registration Management (PVRM) system and support successful vehicle registration
  • Maintain Paint to Sample exterior colour codes for vehicle taxation and registration.
  • Support Porsche Centres with vehicle ordering and delivery queries
  • Communicate production updates, option restrictions, and delays to the Centre Network
  • Track vehicle production and delivery progress, liaising with Porsche AG to support on-time delivery
  • Work with logistics partners to ensure efficient vehicle distribution across the UK
  • Coordinate vehicle shipments to Jersey and the Isle of Man, including customs requirements
  • Provide guidance and training on PVMS and vehicle planning processes
  • Ensure Certificate of Conformity (CoC) documents are distributed in line with compliance requirements

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in administration, planning, logistics, or supply chain
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Desirable Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience
  • Knowledge of vehicle ordering or logistics processes
  • Experience using planning or order management systems
  • Willingness to travel within the UK, including occasional overnight stays
