Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You're a solutions-focussed thinker and you’ve helped organisations bring clarity to projects, programs and functions. You can deliver operational improvement using multiple approaches. Internal and external stakeholders like and respect you because of your commitments, transparency and the energy you bring alongside your professionalism.

Like us, you prefer ownership, execution and delivery to titles and pure strategy.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Own our capacity management: build and maintain dashboards to relay insight to leadership, commercial and financial functions
  • Coordinate activity across projects, programs and clients.
  • Run stand-ups, sprints, programs and projects and manage the team's output cadence
  • Line-manage the professional development of the R&D team
  • Bring a commercial mindset to delivery: joining client calls when needed, contributing to scope design and looking for ways to grow contracts commercially alongside delivery
  • Raise standards for what good looks like, celebrating each progress step towards great.

What You'll Bring

  • Developed technical skills: Operations, Project or Program management experience across complex technical projects (ideally in Manufacturing or Engineering).
  • Empathy and Excellence: You’re able to build trust with both an R&D team and commercial stakeholders while raising the bar
  • Innovative, solution-focussed and energetic. Taking a holistic approach to vastly improve existing processes instead of fixing individual problems, you’re able to personally execute in the day-to-day whilst thinking about longer term strategy.
  • Self-aware, sponge mindset. Willing to listen and reflect before prescribing. We expect you to spend your first 30 days genuinely listening and observing before forming opinions and implementing change.
