Operations & Logistics Coordinator

Location: Northwood, HA6
Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Office-based

We are recruiting for an established international export and distribution business based in Northwood.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining logistics and operations coordination with daily bookkeeping and invoicing. The majority of the position will focus on managing orders, suppliers and freight forwarders, alongside approximately one hour per day of bookkeeping using Xero and responsibility for raising invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing customer orders from start to finish
  • Liaising with multiple suppliers and freight forwarders
  • Managing relationships with some suppliers
  • Coordinating shipments and monitoring orders through to delivery
  • Resolving supplier, delivery, and operational issues
  • Completing daily bookkeeping using Xero – approximately 1 hour per day
  • Raising and processing customer invoices using an ERP system
  • Maintaining accurate financial and operational records
  • General administration, paperwork, and filing
  • Supporting across the business where required

About You

  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or order processing
  • Comfortable completing basic bookkeeping and invoicing
  • Must be tech savvy
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software is desirable but not essential
  • Strong IT skills and confident learning new systems/ERP platforms
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple suppliers and orders simultaneously
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, and happy working in a varied role

There will be occasional travel to other local sites in Cricklewood and Watford, usually once or twice per month. A driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role would suit someone from an Operations Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Order Processing, Export Administration, or Operations & Accounts background who enjoys a diverse and hands-on role.
