Role Overview
Amazon Operations supports the fulfilment and delivery network behind the customer experience. This field-based internship offers practical exposure to fulfilment centres, sortation centres and delivery stations across South East England.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete high-priority operational projects to an agreed standard.
- Analyse data to identify service challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Propose, test and help implement effective solutions with operational teams.
- Work with managers, stakeholders and frontline associates to develop communication and teamwork skills.
- Move around operational buildings to gather knowledge through briefings, flow meetings and leadership discussions.
- Work flexibly across schedules or shift patterns where required and relocate to the assigned site if necessary.

Internship Experience
Interns learn how teams lead associates, maintain safe and productive environments and fulfil customer orders. The programme includes mentoring, office hours, learning sessions and networking opportunities. Start dates are available from January through July 2027, with final placement based on role availability and location preference.

Basic Qualifications
- Penultimate- or final-year student working towards a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, Engineering or a related subject.
- Available for a full-time internship lasting three to six months.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- Curiosity, initiative and confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
