Operations and Logistics Manager
UNCUT Records is looking for a full-time Operations and Logistics Manager for our label venture, helping build it into something that scales.
The role is broad and grows as the vertical does.
Operations
This is the heart of it, and it is why we need someone exceptionally organised.
- Put the systems and structure in place to run the business: campaigns, data and backend logistics, releases, and the way we work with the ads and creative team.
- Streamline all of it into a well-oiled machine that is ready to scale and grow rapidly. Keep everything moving to deadline. Metadata, splits, contracts, delivery, all tight, nothing slips.
- Own the detail. Every release goes out with the artwork right, the credits right, the splits right, and the ISRCs right, first time. A typo in a metadata field is a problem you catch, not one a distributor catches for you.
- Build the stack. You are expected to use every tool available to you. AI, automation, project management, whatever gets the job done and to replace manual work with systems as fast as you find it.
Data
We run on numbers, not vibes.
- Build and own the reporting: streams, playlist adds, saves, ad spend, cost per acquisition, catalogue performance by track and by artist.
- Turn that into a weekly read everyone can act on, and flag what is working and what is dead before anyone has to ask.
- Use the data to decide: which tracks get spend, which get a second push, which get dropped.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Outreach
A scalable outreach model to grow a catalogue. Relationship management with producers, artists, songwriters, and management companies.
- Source tracks, manage the catalogue, and sit across the A&R.
Social
Work closely with our social and creative team on the label's channels.
- Help turn the accounts into a real audience.
- And plenty beyond this as the label builds. You will help shape it.
The non-negotiables
- Unbelievably organised. You run the operation without ever dropping a ball. Everything tracked, nothing slips, no reminders needed. This is the job.
- Obsessive about getting it right. You proofread twice, reconcile the numbers, and care about the details nobody else notices. Near enough is not good enough. You should find errors genuinely annoying.
- Fast. Really fast. Same-day turnaround is the norm, not the exception. We need it today at 100%.
- Data driven. You reach for the numbers before the opinion, and you can build the sheet or the dashboard yourself rather than waiting for someone to send it to you.
- Incredibly proactive. You do not wait to be told. You spot what needs doing, and it is already done. You bring ideas, you chase, you push.
