About the Role
As operations manager, you will provide full administrative and day to day support at a senior level to the Director of operations, to ensure the smooth management and effective use of their time. Handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner. Take initiative as appropriate especially in the Director’s absence.
Part of the responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide superb customer service to our guests and to consistently meet all service and product delivery standards set out by the company.
- Maintain the properties and ensure regular building upkeep, addressing guest complaints, following up on repairs, housekeeping and maintenance queries.
- Coordinating maintenance and housekeeping schedule.
- Support the Housekeeping division as required (organise cleaning rotas and process linen orders/arrange deliveries).
- Participating in the setting up of the apartments (purchasing furniture, decoration, organising photo shooting, creating electricity and insurance contracts etc.)
- Manage stocks, orders, and deliveries
- Visiting new potential properties and analyse future works to be completed
- Identifying staffing needs and training new entrants
- Perform admin duties - book keeping of maintenance, housekeeping as well as daily arrivals/departures.
- Keep the internal booking system up to date.
- Obtain payment information and run credit/debit card payments when required.
