Role Description

The Operations Manager role at BOOST Pet Food is a full-time, remote position responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across the company. This role coordinates production, inventory, and order fulfillment processes to ensure accurate, timely delivery of products to customers and partners. The Operations Manager will monitor key performance indicators, optimize workflows, and implement process improvements that support quality, efficiency, and scalability. The role includes collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, customer service, finance, and marketing to align operations with business goals. This position also involves maintaining documentation, managing vendor relationships, and supporting the implementation of systems and tools that enhance operational reliability.

  • Remote role, with occasional requirements to attend in-person meetings. Must be based in the UK for employment and pay purposes.
  • Comfortable to work in a start-up environment.
  • Has experience working with major retailers.
  • Proficiency in using operations-related software and tools (e.g., spreadsheets, ERP or inventory systems, project management platforms). Unleashed ERP system and Shopify is a bonus.
  • Experience with supply chain coordination, inventory management, and logistics or fulfillment operations.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong operations management skills, including process improvement, workflow optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, interpret data, and propose practical solutions.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote setting, demonstrating reliability, accountability, and attention to detail.
