About Us

We're excited to announce an opportunity to join a growing group of UK-based businesses. The group spans self-storage, serviced apartments, property investment and development, an artisan food brand in addition to two early stage property services businesses.

The role will be centred around improving and enhancing operations of four fast moving companies across e-commerce, hospitality and property. All owner-led and moving fast.

About the Role

The Operations Manager role is a full-time hybrid role based in London.

The ultimate purpose of the Operations Manager role is to be at the founder's right hand across multiple businesses supporting operations activity and helping to drive growth across the portfolio.

The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities across the group including coordinating property management tasks, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external partners.

In addition, this role will support process improvement, help maintain accurate operational and financial records, and contribute to compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The Operations Manager will also assist in resource planning, reporting on key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency across the portfolio. Collaboration with leadership on operational planning and implementation will be a core aspect of this position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day property management enquiries. Act as first point of contact for tenant enquiries and liaison.
  • Handle on-the-ground UK tasks requiring local presence: Site visits, supplier relationships, in-person tenant issues
  • Provide general marketing support across the group.
  • Act as the day-to-day coordination point between the founder and offshore team members
  • Supporting due diligence or admin for new site/business acquisitions as the group expands
  • Running research tasks: comps, market reports, competitor tracking, as proactive work rather than reactive.
  • Producing simple weekly/monthly ops dashboards. Occupancy, enquiries, outstanding tasks etc.
  • Documenting SOPs
  • Manage file organisation and administration
  • Support with general ad-hoc tasks across the business group as they arise
  • Supporting launch and scale of early stage businesses.

If you’re interested in a role where no two days will ever be the same (!) and gain exposure to a fast growing group of businesses across a broad range of sectors – then this is the role for you.

Nice-to-have:

  • Prior experience within the property management industry
  • Prior experience supporting a small business owner or founder directly
  • Ability to drive for travel to the Surrey/Sussex area for site-related tasks

What we expect:

  • You take ownership of the operations across the group.
  • Your organisation must be strong. Ops across four businesses can’t slip because it's a busy week.
  • You move fast without sacrificing quality.
  • You can juggle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and always know what matters most.
  • You are resourceful.
  • You communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and in person.

You are not fit for this role if:

  • You need detailed instructions before you can start anything.
  • You get flustered juggling multiple task or priorities at once.
  • You want a fixed, predictable task list with no variation week to week.

What we offer:

  • A varied, hands-on role at the centre of a growing business group
  • Direct, ongoing access to the founder. Fast decisions, real influence over how the role develops
  • The opportunity to help build the operational backbone that supports the wider team
  • Opportunity for promotion and growth within the group as businesses scale.
  • We’re keen to support performance based incentivisation.
