Loom Talent is partnering with a national 3PL and fulfilment business to appoint an experienced Operations Manager - 3PL & Fulfilment to take ownership of day-to-day operational performance within a busy logistics environment.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the operation. Someone who can look at a set of KPIs, understand what is driving performance, identify where things need to change and then take the team with them.

It's a great opportunity for an established Operations Manager who is ready for a role with greater responsibility, visibility, and influence.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing operational managers and warehouse teams.
  • Taking ownership of daily warehouse performance, service levels, and productivity.
  • Setting clear expectations around operational KPIs and holding teams accountable for delivery.
  • Analysing performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Driving improvements across productivity, labour utilisation, processes, and service.
  • Ensuring effective resource and labour planning across the operation.
  • Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Identifying operational issues quickly and implementing practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Supporting the implementation and optimisation of WMS and operational processes.
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety, compliance, and operational discipline.
  • Building a positive, engaged, and performance-focused culture.
  • Developing future leaders and creating a strong internal talent pipeline.
  • Working collaboratively with HR, transport, engineering, IT, and other support functions.
  • Supporting wider operational projects and initiatives as the business continues to develop.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
