Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Warehousing and Logistics (W+L) team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a shared user or dedicated customer operation, encompassing receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and contractual P&L tracking. You will lead a team of warehouse Team Leaders, manage operating budgets, and utilize data-driven insights to optimize overall facility performance and guarantee customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead strategic warehouse operations and financial planning by monitoring performance metrics, preparing budgets, managing P&L contracts, and implementing continuous improvement plans to boost throughput and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders, facility management, and business development departments to ensure seamless operational integration, support strategic succession planning, and build positive relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Ensure strict compliance with warehouse safety protocols, quality control procedures, and environmental regulations by conducting regular audits, inspections, and monitoring adherence to customer-specific requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Commercial experience in warehouse management, preferably within a 3PL, e-commerce, or high-volume distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental compliance standards.
  • Proven ability in data-driven leadership, team coaching, and cost management to successfully analyze metrics, indicate trends, and manage diverse teams under high-pressure priorities.
