Experienced Operations Manager - Retail Services
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Retail Services Function and lead high performing teams in a fast-paced Financial Services Contact Centre environment.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead up to 12 Team Managers, driving exceptional customer outcomes, operational excellence, and colleague performance through inspirational leadership and coaching. You'll play a key role in delivering business results, optimising resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards, while embedding Nationwide's Customer First Behaviours and creating more rewarding relationships for both colleagues and customers. Working within our hybrid model, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver simply brilliant service and drive continuous improvement across our contact centre operations.

Role Details
- Duration: This is a 9-month secondment opportunity.
- Work Model: Nationwide offers hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
- Location: For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office.
