What You Will Do

  • Lead day-to-day operational activity across manufacturing and engineering, ensuring delivery commitments are met.
  • Drive productivity and continuous improvement using Lean principles, Kaizen activity, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve key operational KPIs, including quality, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Support resource planning to align capacity with customer demand and improve process flow.
  • Partner with senior leadership to strengthen budget awareness and cost control while protecting quality.
  • Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and support compliance across operational areas.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, or similar operational leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement, with the ability to deliver improvement projects end-to-end.
  • Confident people leadership skills, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP/MRP systems, with the ability to improve operational reporting and planning.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment and a calm, proactive approach to risk management.
