Operations Manager - Leakage Framework

Location: Scotland (Edinburgh, Lanarkshire & Borders)
Salary: Up to £52,000 DOE
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of a major Leakage Framework contract across Scotland's South Region. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for operational performance, health & safety, people management, customer service, and commercial delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field-based operational teams across the region.
- Ensure contractual, customer, and performance targets are achieved.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Promote a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture.
- Manage budgets, performance data, and operational reporting.
- Develop, motivate, and support operational teams.
- Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Support recruitment, training, succession planning, and employee development.

Essential Requirements
- Proven Operations Manager or Senior Operations leadership experience.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Excellent health & safety knowledge.
- Experience managing operational performance and budgets.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and drive improvement.
Desirable
- Utilities, water, leakage, or field operations experience.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Knowledge of Scottish Water frameworks.
- Power BI or advanced Excel reporting skills.
