Operations Manager

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading and developing your workforce through your adaptive management style – You’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up and lead by example, and you appreciate that different people respond positively to different approaches.

• Implements lean management and continuous improvement techniques - Inspiring others to reduce waste and improve productivity within the workforce.

About You:

• You have a strong track record of achievement in Operational Management within your industry.
• Your track record demonstrates that you are motivated and driven to achieve increased efficiencies, reduced costs, and improved outcomes in all operational areas.
• You're experienced in managing a dynamic team, and your management style is collaborative and inclusive.
• You will have good project management experience which has seen you make some value-added changes in your past.
• You will be able to develop strategies and plans to achieve strategic outcomes and influencing the wider business in operations.

The products we’ll all need tomorrow depend on us making the most of today’s end-of-life metals, plastics and other materials.

Take a car at the end of its life - most people just see a…car at the end of its life.

We see steel, aluminium, copper, plastics, rubber, glass, parts, fluids, costs, risks, markets and – most importantly - possibilities.

Now, multiply that by thousands of cars – we recover, reuse and recycle all those valuable materials and put them back to work as low-carbon materials for manufacturing, infrastructure, energy and transport.

And that’s just one thing we recycle. Add buildings, factories, ships, railways and industrial equipment. That’s all our hard work – the gritty, practical, commercial, difficult work our 4,000 global colleagues do every day.
