Job Title: Operations Manager – London Venue
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus
Location: London
My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a prestigious historic venue in central London. This is a senior, hands-on role covering venue operations, facilities, events, compliance and commercial performance, with responsibility for ensuring the venue delivers exceptional experiences while maximising revenue.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the team and oversee day-to-day operations
- Manage facilities, maintenance, contractors and suppliers
- Manage the Health & Safety, compliance, licensing and risk
- Oversee conferences, banquets, weddings, private events and commercial hires
- Manage budgets and drive operational efficiencies
- Work closely with the catering partner to deliver outstanding events
- Build relationships with clients, members and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to grow commercial event revenue

What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in venue, hospitality, catering or facilities management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Event operations and customer service experience
- Commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive revenue
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance and facilities management
- Highly organised, confident and commercially minded
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
