Operations Manager – Luxury Hospitality Venue
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Tronc
Location: London
My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a prestigious luxury hospitality venue in London. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for restaurant operations, events, people, compliance and commercial performance, ensuring the venue consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences while maximising revenue and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operation, ensuring consistently high standards of service, hospitality and guest experience
- Provide clear leadership to the restaurant and kitchen management teams, developing a high-performing and engaged team
- Oversee restaurant, private dining and event operations, ensuring each experience is delivered to an exceptional standard
- Take full ownership of the restaurant P&L, budgets, forecasting and financial performance
- Monitor revenue, labour costs, purchasing and expenditure to maximise efficiency and profitability
- Identify and develop opportunities to grow the events and commercial side of the business
- Manage suppliers and key commercial relationships, ensuring strong service and value
- Ensure full compliance across licensing, Health & Safety, food safety, employment legislation and company policies
- Monitor operational and financial performance, using data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement
- Recruit, coach and develop the management team, creating a culture of excellence and accountability

What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a senior restaurant, hospitality or food & beverage management role
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L accounts
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Experience managing premium hospitality, events or private dining operations
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, food safety, licensing and compliance
- Ability to analyse operational and financial data and use this to drive performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded, highly organised and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality
- A proactive and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment
