We’re hiring: Operations Manager
Prestige Pipelaying JV Ltd is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to support the mobilisation and delivery of our Principal Contractor responsibilities across the Cadent framework.
Location: Northampton
Salary: 65-70k + Vehicle + Benefits
This is a key leadership role with responsibility for:
- Leading day-to-day operational delivery across multiple projects and workstreams
- Managing Project / Site Managers and operational support teams
- Driving safety, quality, customer service and programme performance
- Ensuring compliance with Cadent, industry and company standards
- Supporting resource planning, recruitment and succession planning
- Managing operational risks, costs and client commitments
- Working closely with HSEQ, Compliance, Commercial and Planning teams
- Supporting mobilisation and Principal Contractor requirements

We are looking for someone with:
- At least five years’ experience in an operational management role
- A strong background in utilities, civil engineering or infrastructure delivery
- Experience managing multiple operational teams
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A good understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements
- Commercial awareness and experience managing operational costs
- Experience working with utility clients and framework contracts
- A full UK driving licence
Experience in gas utilities, Principal Contractor delivery, NRSWA, SMSTS, CDM, Temporary Works, IOSH or NEBOSH would be beneficial.
