An exciting opportunity for a commercially savvy, operationally strong Operations Manager to run a premium boutique fitness studio
This role is ideal for an experienced fitness or wellness operator who thrives on building effective systems, delivering consistent performance, and driving strong commercial results. You will oversee the full operational function of the studio, with clear growth targets to achieve and a focus on identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation. You will also own the studio’s day-to-day marketing, from email and newsletters to capturing content. We are looking for someone with a growth-oriented mindset, able to put effective operations in place so the studio runs smoothly, while actively driving development with energy and ambition.

Our client is a well-established boutique fitness brand operating within the premium studio space. Known for delivering innovative, results-driven training experiences and fostering a strong sense of community, the business offers a high-quality member experience supported by a passionate and professional team.
With two locations already established in West London and further expansion planned, this is a company that values leadership, culture, and long-term growth.
The Basics
- £40,000 - £45,000 salary, depending on experience
- Full-time role (40 hours per week minimum) 9am-6pm
- 1 weekend day worked each week (in place of a weekday)
- Flexibility required for early, late, and occasional out-of-hours work
- 28 days annual leave inc bank holidays

The Role
Studio Operations + Performance
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the studio
- Own studio KPIs, monitoring performance metrics and reporting on business progress
- Prepare weekly reports and communicate performance insights to leadership and team
- Manage studio systems for bookings, memberships, and scheduling
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and brand alignment
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers as required
- Proactively resolve operational issues
Commercial Performance + Sales
- Drive membership growth and retention
- Meet and exceed sales targets across memberships, classes, and retail
- Support sales conversions through digital channels
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve client retention
Marketing + Content
- Build and send email campaigns and newsletters using Klaviyo
- Capture studio content, including photos and short-form video, to support campaigns and social channels
- Plan and deliver studio marketing initiatives, promotions, and events
- Collaborate with the existing social media support and any external agency partners
- Contribute ideas for growth, content, and community engagement
- Engage with the local area to increase brand awareness and drive new business
Team + Administration
- Work alongside the studio’s dedicated front-of-house manager, so that the studio floor and operations run in step
- Support and develop the studio team
- Manage staff scheduling, rotas, and class cover
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Liaise with HR on staffing and administrative processes
- Track and submit staff hours for payroll
Client Insight + Retail
- Build strong working relationships with instructors
- Ensure promotions, events, and offerings are communicated effectively to members
- Gather client feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the experience
- Oversee retail stock management, ordering, and merchandising in line with brand standards

The Person
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or a similar client-facing environment
- Proven experience in sales and achieving commercial targets
- Strong operational grounding, including KPIs and performance reporting
- Practical marketing ability, such as email/newsletter campaigns and basic content creation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple responsibilities within a small team
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and boutique studio environments
- Proactive, driven, and confident taking initiative
- Flexible and reliable, with availability for weekends and varied working hours
Desirable
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform
- Experience capturing photo and video content for social and email
- Previous experience in a Studio Manager, General Manager, or similar role
- Experience within a premium or boutique fitness environment
- Familiarity with studio management systems
- Understanding of financial processes including payroll, budgeting, and reporting
