Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse and transport operations, driving strong performance, high standards, and continuous improvement across the department. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance daily delivery with longer-term development, supporting teams, improving systems, and helping to modernise working practices.

You will be responsible for the effective running of operational activity across goods-in, despatch, stock control, and transport. Working closely with senior management, you will ensure resources are deployed effectively, service levels are maintained, and operational targets are achieved in a safe, structured, and sustainable way.

A key part of the role will be to lead performance through data, KPIs, and reporting, while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen overall ways of working. You will also play an important role in supporting system adoption, including the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related digital processes.

Role: Operations Manager

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
