The company is a world leader in manufacturing and exporting non-contact infrared thermometers under the Government of India’s Make in India program. JBDS POWER has built a strong global commercial network and maintains business associations with multiple international companies operating in India. With a team of approximately 45–50 employees, including dedicated sales and technical professionals, the organization supports a growing customer base of more than 1,000 satisfied clients. The company is committed to timely response, high-quality products, and long-term customer relationships.
Role Description
The Operations Manager role at JBDS POWER is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities, including production planning, inventory management, and coordination between sales, technical, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer service. This role will monitor operational performance, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures. The Operations Manager will manage and develop staff, allocate resources effectively, and support cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency and scalability. The position also involves preparing operational reports, supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights, and contributing to strategic initiatives for growth in international markets.

Qualifications

- Operations and process management skills, including experience in production planning, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with experience in supervising teams, performance management, and staff development.
- Competence in data analysis and reporting, using KPIs, spreadsheets, and operational metrics to support decision-making.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance standards, ideally ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 or similar frameworks.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, and vendor coordination within manufacturing or healthcare-related industries.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, technical, and international business partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, medical devices, or healthcare technology is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility to support occasional extended hours based on operational needs.
