Operations Manager

Location: Central London
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week


About the Role

Are you an experienced security professional who thrives on keeping operations running smoothly across multiple sites?
We’re looking for a Security Operations Manager to provide operational leadership, support, and oversight across our security portfolio. This is a key role for someone who enjoys being visible, solving problems, supporting site teams, and driving consistently high standards.

You’ll work closely with Security Managers, Supervisors, clients, and internal teams, helping to ensure our sites remain compliant, well-managed, and operationally effective.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day security operations across an assigned portfolio.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to Security Managers and Supervisors.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meaningful security audits.
  • Monitor compliance, training, audits, and site requirements, including Dayforce.
  • Complete and review operational and security risk assessments, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
  • Identify operational risks and ensure corrective actions are followed through to completion.
  • Ensure site documentation, AI’s, SOPs, risk assessments, and operational records are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor service delivery and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
  • Support new site mobilisations, contract changes, and operational transitions.
  • Prepare reports and operational information for client and management meetings.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, site teams, and internal departments.
  • Monitor staffing, performance, and operational requirements across the portfolio.
  • Provide operational leadership and support during incidents, emergencies, and other issues when required.
  • Ensure operational, Health & Safety, and compliance standards are consistently maintained.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong security knowledge with confident operational leadership.
You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a security management or operations management role.
  • Strong knowledge of security operations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Experience completing and reviewing security risk assessments.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and competing demands.
  • Confidence working with clients, managers, and operational teams.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
  • IOSH qualification – desirable.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to identify issues before they become problems.
