Operations Manager
We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead and develop our clients' Production, Shop Floor, Design, and Quality teams. This is a key leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and business growth within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- The Operations Manager will lead daily operations across production, design, quality, and shop floor teams
- Improve manufacturing processes, productivity, efficiency, and output
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
- Manage the introduction of new machinery, technology, and automation
- Monitor production KPIs, quality standards, and delivery performance
- Develop SOPs and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
- Lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional teams
- Provide hands-on support and problem-solving on the shop floor when required

About You
- 5+ years' experience in an Operations Management role within manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication.
- Proven experience leading multiple departments and implementing operational change.
- Strong background in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience introducing new machinery, technology, or automation projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Practical, proactive, and highly organised with a hands-on approach.
