Think Selection is delighted to be recruiting an Operations Manager for a highly regarded and successful independent London-based publishing company.
About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established company at an exciting point of growth, with an expanding publishing programme and a growing range of services for publishing clients. The Operations Manager will be central to the smooth running of the company, with a broad remit covering operations, HR administration, and some financial coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Operations: Ensuring systems and processes are efficient and well organized.
- HR Administration: Managing contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination, and pensions.
- Facilities Management: Overseeing premises, IT, software subscriptions, and compliance.
- Financial Coordination: Handling invoices, payment schedules, and communication with the company’s bookkeepers and accountants.

Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone with solid operations experience who is highly organized, practical, and confident dealing with a broad range of responsibilities. Candidates could come from publishing, media, the arts, or another small or medium-sized company where they have gained exposure to HR and operational administration.

Position Details
- Location: West London
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (three days per week in the office)
- Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits
