Are you passionate about food, drink and exceptional service? Would you like to join an award-winning hospitality team and still make it home for dinner? We're looking for a Operations Manager to join our team.

Location: London (Require occasional visit in the region)

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an initial portfolio of 6 sites, primarily based in London, with regular travel to regional locations including Bristol, Southampton, Leeds, Plymouth and Newcastle.
  • Build strong client relationships to support contract retention, growth and added value opportunities.
  • Oversee day-to-day catering operations, ensuring high standards of food and service delivery.
  • Lead, support and develop on-site managers and teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, labour control and cost management.
  • Drive commercial performance while maintaining exceptional food and service standards.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, food safety standards and brand requirements.
  • Support new site mobilisations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a strong people-focused culture, ensuring remote and regional teams remain engaged and connected.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Business & Industry (B&I) operations experience is essential.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an Operations Manager role within contract catering or a similar environment.
  • Current or recent multi-site Operations Manager experience.
  • Proven experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence and develop others.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong financial acumen.
  • Innovative, solutions-focused and able to think outside the box.
  • Passionate about food, hospitality and industry trends.
  • Proven track record of supporting contract retention and business growth.
  • Able to balance operational excellence with strategic thinking.
  • Willing to travel and stay overnight when required.
