Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be exclusively partnered with a precision manufacturer supplying into aerospace, based in Sheffield, who are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to take full ownership of the operations site.

This is a senior management team role reporting directly to the Managing Director. It covers machining, sawing and inspection, alongside stockholding, logistics and supporting services such as NDT. The business operates to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D, with heavy investment in automation, so the Operations Manager coming in needs to be as comfortable driving culture and standards as they are hitting output numbers.

It is a genuinely broad remit. You will be developing people as much as managing a P&L, and there is real scope to shape how the site runs rather than just maintain it.

Benefits:

  • Contributory pension scheme, enhanced employer contribution
  • Free onsite parking

Working Hours:

  • Days based, Monday to Friday

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
