Creative Operations Manager

Nottingham, a minimum of 3x days onsite per week

Up to £395 per day via umbrella

We’re looking for an experienced Creative Operations Manager to join an established creative team during an exciting period of change and development.

This is a hands-on freelance opportunity where you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager, helping to strengthen resource planning, capacity management and the way work flows across the agency.

It’s more than just a resource management role. You’ll bring wider Creative Operations experience, offering senior-level support, solving complex challenges and helping shape processes, systems and ways of working for the future.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting resource and capacity planning across competing priorities and upcoming work.
  • Identifying potential risks around demand, capacity and utilisation before they become issues.
  • Working closely with Creative, Project Management, Production and Client teams to keep work moving effectively.
  • Providing senior operational support and practical solutions to day-to-day challenges.
  • Helping improve planning, workflow, governance, processes and ways of working.
  • Bringing fresh ideas and best practice from your Creative Operations experience.
  • Helping develop the wider Operations function and build stronger connections between resource, systems, data and workflow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
