Job title: Operations Manager - Depot: Manchester - Reporting to: Depot Manager
Who we are:
United Wholesale Grocers Limited was founded in 1977 by Mr. Mohammed Ramzan. The company has over 200 employees with a turnover in excess of £200 million. We currently have 3 branches, 2 in Glasgow, 1 at Gateshead and we will soon be opening an additional branch in Greater Manchester. We are primarily a Cash & Carry Wholesale business with a wide product portfolio consisting of Beers, Wines, Spirits, Soft Drinks, Confectionary, Crisps and Snacks, Household and Grocery.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
Are you a dynamic, self-motivated individual with the ability to inspire our suppliers, our customers and your colleagues?
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Operations Manager will manage the stock control and stock operations of the Depot. The role will involve working closely with suppliers and the depot team to ensure that the company objectives on maximising margin whilst ensuring stock availability that in turn delivers great customer service and experience within our branches.
