About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of our hub operation. Reporting to the Hub Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance and coordination of key operational functions, ensuring resources, processes, and teams are aligned to deliver outstanding results for both internal and external customers. You will lead by example, promoting high standards of operational excellence while creating a positive, high-performing culture that encourages collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and optimise Inbound, Outbound, Manual and International operations to consistently deliver service and performance targets.
- Manage resources, shift performance, costs, compliance, health & safety and customer service standards.
- Use data and insights to drive performance, solve problems and implement continuous improvements.
- Produce performance reports, identify root causes and deliver effective action plans.
- Coach, develop and engage teams through regular communication and performance management.
- Ensure operational excellence through strong planning, peak preparation and adherence to SOPs, SLAs and KPIs.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and champion a high-performing, people-focused culture.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- We are looking for a confident and resilient operational leader with a proven track record of delivering results through both people and process. You will have excellent organisational skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to influence performance through effective leadership and decision-making.
- Proven operations management experience with responsibility for performance, people and cost control.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- A data-driven mindset, using insight and analytics to improve operational performance and influence decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, resilience and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Experience managing budgets and driving operational efficiency.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong numeracy.
- A full UK driving licence.
