Role Title: Operations Manager

Location: Primarily Suffolk/Norfolk
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Operations Manager to work directly alongside our Registered Manager. In this role, you will be the operational engine keeping our care services running smoothly while driving strategic growth. You will take ownership of day-to-day service quality, HR processes, and operational compliance, freeing up executive bandwidth to expand our footprint and scale the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Quality & Audits: Oversee rigorous quality assurance processes, including routine medication audits, clinical/service spot checks, and compliance reviews.
  • Workforce & Rotas: Manage master rotas to ensure optimal staffing levels, shift coverage, and cost efficiency across all care delivery.
  • HR & People Support: Drive recruitment, onboarding, staff retention, supervision, and ongoing HR administrative processes.
  • Growth Support: Partner with the Registered Manager to identify operational efficiencies, onboard new service contracts, and prepare the business for scalable growth.
  • Compliance: Maintain full readiness for CQC (or local regulatory body) inspections by ensuring all documentation, policies, and staff files are audit-ready.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in an operational management or supervisory role within the social care, healthcare, or domiciliary care sector.
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory standards, medication administration oversight, and rota management systems.
  • Practical knowledge of HR workflows, staff management, and performance monitoring.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a frontline care team.
