Operations Manager – Defence | Bristol Abbey Wood
I’m currently recruiting for an Operations Manager position with Defence, based at Bristol Abbey Wood. The role is a 6-month contract, with around 60% on-site attendance required.
The position sits within an in-service support environment, providing operational and technical support around complex weapons systems. You’ll be responsible for ensuring services are delivered effectively, with a focus on operations management, contract management, stock control, milestones, service standards and surveillance.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a MOD/Defence background, especially those who have worked as a Royal Navy submariner, Quartermaster, Class 1 Officer, engineer or in a similar Defence operations/support role.

The ideal candidate will have strong operations management experience, be comfortable working in a Defence environment, and be able to quickly understand and manage complex in-service operations.
