Something pretty exciting is happening at Roost Coffee House...
We’re opening our second site in Soham this November — and it’s going to be around 5x the size of our original coffee house, with around 60 covers and a brand-new breakfast, brunch & lunch menu alongside all the pastries, cakes, bakes and toasted sandwiches our customers love. 🥐🍰☕️
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join us from mid-October and help us build this next chapter of Roost.
£35,000–£40,000
40 hours per week
Soham, Cambridgeshire

Your role will include:
- Leading and developing our teams
- Recruitment, training & rotas
- Stock, suppliers & operations
- Food safety & health & safety
- Customer experience & standards
- KPIs, sales & profitability
- Helping launch our new Soham site
- Developing our menu
- Events & community
- Developing supervisors and future managers
- Helping build the systems and culture that will allow Roost to grow

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, organised, commercially minded and passionate about hospitality. Someone who loves people, cares about the details, has ideas and wants to build something rather than simply manage something.
Our new Soham coffee house is opening within Scampers Pets, part of the national Pets Corner group, and this new partnership could be the beginning of a much bigger journey for Roost.
