Operations Manager

Required for this luxury high-end travel company travel. It's an amazing company, in its infancy, 3 years old, plenty of funding and financial backing.

Homebased, 50/80k plus equity and benefits. They are looking for a hands-on senior operations person, from a luxury travel or concierge background, someone who is used to doing the day-to-day operational tasks, but with the experience to grow a team. This is not a 9 to 5.30pm role, the team works longer hours, but get rewarded for their hard work.

Operations Manager's Duties

  • Own travel operations end-to-end, from booking confirmation to trip completion and post-travel follow-up
  • Act as the primary, client-facing operational point of contact for premium clients
  • Execute bespoke travel requests, coordinating flights, hotels, transfers, and special requests
  • Manage and grow relationships with global hotels, DMCs, and other travel suppliers
  • Handle real-time changes, issues, and escalations during travel with calm and decisive problem-solving
  • Collaborate closely with the founding team and engineers to improve internal tools and systems
  • Prepare the foundations for scaling the operations team, including training materials and quality standards

Operations Manager's Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years in an operations role in the travel industry, ideally within luxury travel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating directly with clients
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle last-minute changes and escalations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes
  • A strong work ethic and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences
