Culinary Operations Manager

This is a fantastic new opportunity for a culinary-focused Operations Manager to play a key role in a unique Founder-led business, which is ready for its next stage of expansion.

As Operations Manager, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the safe, compliant, profitable, and on-time delivery of quality food for a variety of clients. You will own operational responsibility end-to-end—managing people, processes, suppliers, compliance, and cost—while building systems to support rapid growth.

Package: £65,000 per annum

Hours: 48 hours per week (with rota flexibility)

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the founders to scale the business while removing manual work and single points of failure.

The Person

  • Proven operations, production, or general management experience in food production, contract catering, hospitality, or a time-critical, regulated environment.
  • An inspiring leader who will line-manage, train, and develop the kitchen, packing, and delivery team while optimizing staff rotas and controlling labour costs.
  • Financial awareness with experience managing budgets, margins, stock, and purchasing.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and confident dealing directly with clients.
  • Systems-minded professional able to establish SOPs, implement digital operational tools, and track KPIs.
  • Level 3 Food Safety minimum.
  • A holder of a full UK driving licence would be needed.
