An established organisation is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to join their team in Warrington. This role offers the chance to oversee multiple projects, ensuring they comply with company policies and procedures, and to lead a team towards successful project completion. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this position is perfect for someone who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about delivering high-quality results.
Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all aspects of each project from estimating handover through to completion of the Defects Liability Period.
- Provide project direction, focus, and consistency across several schemes.
- Ensure staff receive adequate training to carry out their roles effectively.
- Assess and manage exposure to business risks, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and manage the Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan.
- Oversee the contract programme, including Target Programmes and procurement schedules.
- Register schemes under the Considerate Constructor Scheme where applicable.
- Supervise and support the Site Manager in health and safety management, quality control, and other responsibilities.

Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within contract management looking at social housing projects and specifically - planned works and SHDF.
- Up-to-date knowledge of building legislation and Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience with partnership arrangements and understanding of local government.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and manage time effectively.
- Proven ability to mentor and support team members.
