We're working with an award-winning independent branding and digital agency looking for an Operations Manager to become the heartbeat of their London studio. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll oversee everything from studio operations and resource planning through to people support, finance administration and process improvement, ensuring the agency runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Working closely with the leadership team, you'll connect Creative, Client Services and Operations, bringing structure, solving problems before they arise and creating an environment where the wider team can do their best work.

What you'll be doing
Studio Operations
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the London studio, ensuring it's organised, welcoming and operating efficiently.
- Managing office suppliers, equipment, facilities and building relationships with landlords, contractors and service providers.
- Coordinating maintenance, office improvements and ensuring shared spaces are always client-ready.
- Welcoming visitors and creating a positive experience for clients and guests.
- Organising internal events, socials, company meetings and wider studio initiatives.
People & Culture
- Managing onboarding and offboarding processes for new starters and leavers.
- Supporting performance review cycles, employee communications and day-to-day people operations.
- Acting as the first point of contact for the wider team, helping foster a collaborative and supportive studio culture.
- Coordinating travel, team schedules and internal communications.
- Supporting recruitment administration, interview coordination and employment documentation when required.

Finance & Administration
- Managing supplier invoices, freelancer payments, subscriptions and general studio expenditure.
- Assisting with payroll administration and maintaining employee records.
- Monitoring operational budgets, forecasting costs and supporting monthly financial reporting.
- Maintaining compliance documentation and supporting wider business operations.
- Supporting ongoing B Corp initiatives, reporting and operational improvements.
Resource Planning
- Coordinating resource allocation across the London studio, ensuring teams are effectively utilised.
- Leading weekly resource meetings and maintaining visibility of capacity, availability and future workload.
- Working closely with Creative leadership to balance project requirements with team skills and availability.
- Managing freelancer sourcing, bookings, contracts and maintaining an up-to-date freelance network.
- Monitoring annual leave and resource planning to ensure appropriate project cover.
Process Improvement
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows and operational efficiency across the business.
- Supporting the implementation of new software, AI tools and operational platforms.
- Leading internal operational projects as the agency continues to grow and evolve.
Marketing Support
- Supporting the marketing team with website content updates, case study launches and digital asset management.
- Uploading content via the CMS and ensuring everything meets brand standards.
- Assisting with social media scheduling and wider marketing administration where required.

What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an Operations, Studio Management, Resource Management or Agency Operations role.
- Experience working within a creative, branding, design or marketing agency would be highly desirable.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with budgets, utilisation and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Comfortable balancing people management, operations, administration and resource planning.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and able to anticipate issues before they become problems.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and process management.
- Confident learning new systems, software and AI tools.
- A collaborative, positive approach and genuine passion for creating an exceptional studio environment.
