Job Title: Operations Manager
Industry: Critical National Infrastructure
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Salary: Up to £75,000 Basic Salary
A growing service provider with major contracts across UK critical infrastructure is hiring an Operations Manager to lead its resident team at a major nuclear new build site in Somerset. You will be acting as the client's day to day operational representative on site, responsible for engineering, maintenance, support and operational delivery across a resident workforce and subcontractor base. This is a genuine long-term opportunity with a business that has significant, ongoing contract wins across the country.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all resident operational, maintenance, support and approved works activity on site
- Own operational performance, workforce deployment, work prioritisation and delivery readiness
- Act as the primary day to day customer contact for operational delivery and service performance
- Line manage the resident site team, including resourcing, performance management and competence development
- Lead operational coordination of incidents, service degradation and site escalations
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers engaged in site delivery, ensuring competence, access and deliverables are confirmed before work begins

Skills Required
- Demonstrable experience leading an operational engineering, maintenance or critical infrastructure team
- Experience of customer facing service delivery and managing operational commitments and escalations
- Full UK driving licence and ability to meet site access requirements
Strong Differentiators
- IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS or an equivalent management qualification such as ILM or CMI
- Experience within a managed service, maintenance or critical communications environment
- Working knowledge of radio, wireless, DAS, RF over fibre or integrated communications systems
