Here at GXO, we're looking for a passionate and driven Operations Manager to join our ASOS Doncaster operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a large-scale logistics operation, leading high-performing teams while delivering exceptional service for one of the world's leading fashion retailers. You'll play a pivotal role in driving operational performance, developing future leaders, championing safety and ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded. This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working Tuesday to Saturday on rotating shifts, 05:45 till 14:15 and 13:45 till 22:15

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Lead and develop First Line Managers and operational teams to achieve and exceed productivity, quality and service KPIs
  • Drive a strong culture of Health & Safety, ensuring compliance, risk management and a safe working environment for all colleagues
  • Manage daily operational activities including resource planning, stock movement, performance management and workflow prioritisation
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste and improve service delivery
  • Monitor budgets, analyse operational performance and provide detailed reporting to senior stakeholders and customers

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven Operations Management experience within logistics, supply chain, warehousing or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and building succession plans
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence using operational systems and Excel
