As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of our contractor and project services function and help us further develop and scale our operational processes.
The Role
This is a key role responsible for the end-to-end contractor lifecycle and wider project services function at Applica.
You will oversee the processes that support contractor onboarding and offboarding, mobilisation, travel, visas, compliance, extensions and ongoing workforce support. Working closely with Recruitment, Business Development, Finance, People & Culture and our clients, you will ensure contractors are mobilised efficiently, compliantly and supported throughout their assignments.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in contractor services, workforce solutions and operational process improvement who can bring structure, improve workflows and help us scale the function as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and oversee the full contractor lifecycle, from offer acceptance through to assignment completion.
- Ensure onboarding, compliance, mobilisation and offboarding activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Lead contractor mobilisation across multiple regions and client locations.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and mobilisation logistics, working with external travel partners where required.
- Oversee visa and immigration processes, medicals, insurance and other international assignment requirements.
- Act as a key operational contact for clients and contractors, managing queries, extensions, amendments and assignment changes.
- Maintain and continuously improve contractor onboarding, offboarding and compliance processes.
- Ensure contractor documentation and processes adhere to client requirements and relevant compliance standards.
- Drive the development and optimisation of operational systems and platforms, including Bullhorn and Onboarded.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and the overall contractor experience.
- Work cross-functionally with Recruitment, Business Development, Finance and People & Culture.
- Provide operational insight to leadership and support the continued growth and development of the project services function.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience within contractor onboarding, mobilisation, contractor services or workforce solutions.
- Experience developing, implementing or improving operational processes and workflows.
- A good understanding of contractor compliance and international mobilisation.
- Experience managing travel, visas or international assignments would be highly desirable.
- Strong organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership of the function.
